When I moved up to Arlington on August 15th, I rented a Budget 15 foot truck to transport all my worldly possessions. All went well as I packed, and drove it out of the house. But about an hour into my trip, as I passed a bridge support that was (I later saw, on my next drive up) RIGHT against the road, I heard a sound like a shot.

Turns out I'd hit the side view mirror (which sticks WAY out of the already wide truck), which has snapped off and smashed the passenger side window. I was sure I must be bleeding, but the only thing I found was chunks of safety glass in my hair. A piece of advice to anyone and everyone - take the $0 deductible insurance. The $250 deductible insurance is the sucker's bet.

"What the hell?!" So, it'll be the right lane from now on, huh?
